About the Course

Overview

Ethical and legal issues often present difficult choices in decision making for employers and employees, especially in the absence of a clearly accepted standard. Research has indicated when legal requirements and ethical expectations are clearly defined, understood and demonstrated, employees have more trust and confidence in the process. With an emphasis on reviewing and applying appropriate legal and ethical standards, this course will provide participants with the tools necessary to identify, address and resolve potential legal and ethical issues in a fair and consistent manner. A variety of hands-on instructional methods such as roleplay, case studies, group discussions and coached practice will be employed.
