Overview

Many workplaces are no longer solely organized as command-and-control, top-down hierarchies; increasingly, organizations have more geographically and operationally dispersed management structures that require people to interact differently. In this new model, many aspects of work must be negotiated continually to maintain effectiveness. Organizations also must be able to negotiate lasting and mutually beneficial relationships and agreements with external stakeholders. 

This interactive course covers the structure of negotiations, key negotiation skills and negotiation challenges. Participants apply course content to extensive scenarios in class as well their own experiences with negotiations.
