About the Course

Overview

All organizations experience conflict. However, conflict need not be destructive. This interactive workshop provides practical tools and techniques for resolving workplace conflict involving relationships, power imbalances, methods and procedures, and differences in values.

Participants will explore communication strategies for effectively lowering emotional intensity and seeking win-win outcomes. The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) serves as a valuable tool for evaluating individual conflict styles and discussing the strengths and weaknesses inherent in different approaches to conflict resolution within professional settings. Enrollees will also learn how to constructively manage conflicts between individuals and within teams to build cohesive and healthy workplace climates.
